The Festival field is on the B3151 between Wedmore and Cheddar. The entrance to the festival is clearly marked by road signage as you approach the site. We have a different entrance this year to previous years so please exercise caution and reduce your speed as you draw near to the site. There will directions at the bottom of Notlake drove lane to the car park and stewards wearing high vis vest’s to guide you in.

If you are coming on the motorway then leave at junction 22, head towards Cheddar, once in Cheddar look for signs to Wedmore turning right onto the B3151

Go green! Car sharing is the way, we don't want the field full of your dirty cars, share the love and get snuggling up on the backseat.

Camping & live in vehicles

There will be three camping areas this year, family camping, general camping and live in vehicles. There are toilets in each camping area as well as fire points and recycling bins.

We have limited space for camper-vans and caravans, so you will need to purchase a camper van ticket.

Every vehicle parking in the car park will need to display a car park ticket clearly in the window. These can be purchased from our ticket section. Camper-vans and live in vehicles do not need a car park ticket as the live in vehicle ticket price covers this.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any animals on site, be they dogs, cats, gruffalos etc...

We can not allow any fires in the campsites, this includes:

  • Campfires
  • Fire pits
  • Paper lanterns
  • Flares, large candles and fireworks

If you intend on using a barbecue never take into your tent, awning, caravan or camper van. Leaving a BBQ in the porch of your tent, hours after use, could cause Carbon Monoxide Poisoning.

There are top-notch food stalls to feed you morning, noon and night. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink, but please NO GLASS BOTTLES, just transfer to plastic bottles and label them.

Alcohol Policy

There will be fully licensed bars, serving a wide range of drinks. You can bring a reasonable amount of alcohol with you for consumption on the campsite (please NO GLASS BOTTLES) but you can’t bring it in to the festival area. We want you to have plenty of fun at the festival, but please don't over indulge, please consider your fellow festival goers.

Sat in a Field will operate 'Challenge 21' policy, If you are lucky enough to look younger than you are please ensure that you have I.D with you. The following are acceptable forms of ID:

  • UK Driving License
  • Valid Passport
  • If you don't want to bring your passport or driving license, use a PASS ID. See www.pass-scheme.org. for details.

Don't forget to drink plenty of water. Long waking hours, dancing and summer sun can increase your need.

If you are drunk and causing a problem, you may be arrested. Sat in a field is a family friendly event and will not tolerate anti-social behaviour of any kind at the festival.

Illegal Substance Policy

The dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not tolerated by Sat in a Field Festival in any way. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. If you deal in drugs, it is very likely that you will be arrested.

Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated and participants will leave themselves liable for eviction from the site.

Fancy Dress Sunday

We are declaring the Sunday as Fancy Dress day, no theme, anything goes. We want to see super heroes, spacemen, pirates, cowboys, fairies, pixies, just run wild

Get rummaging in the dressing up box and dig out those costumes. We want to see how colourful you all are!

Festival Size & Field Folk

Our family friendly festival is a small festival that has a warm family feel. We only allow 2500 people on site, which is a bigger factor in the welcoming and safe vibe and atmosphere..

All members of the festival team will happily help you with any questions. Our stewards can be recognized by their high-vis vests and big smiles, so don't be afraid to ask them!
